A personal project for bringing my fitness, sleep, and health records together in one privately managed database.

About the project

Personal Health Hub is operated by the owner of yaniss.fr for their own use. It brings together workout exports from Strong and supported Google Health records originating from a Google Fitbit Air. The project is not currently offered as a public service and does not accept registrations.

What the connection does

With the account owner’s authorization, the application reads activity and fitness, sleep, and health metrics and measurement data through the Google Health API. This includes available heart-rate and heart-rate variability (HRV) records, steps, distance, exercise sessions, sleep stages, and overnight metrics.

The current importer retains only records identified as coming from Google Fitbit Air on the Fitbit platform, with eligible measurement dates from 10 September 2026 onward. Data from other devices or applications is excluded from this import.

The application requests read-only permissions. It does not write, edit, or delete records in the Google Health account. Its purpose is personal record keeping and analysis, including comparing activity and sleep patterns with workout history.

Where the data goes

The importer runs on a personally managed Raspberry Pi and stores records in a PostgreSQL database. Authorized exports and backups may also be kept on computers or storage controlled by the operator. This public website describes the project; it does not provide public access to the database or display health records.
